DESCRIPTION:Castle Howard Classic Car Show -17th June.\n\nThis year the Fathers’ Day Classic Car show at Castle Howard is being run by Classic Shows. Entry forms are available at their website (www.classicshows.org )\nA batch of free tickets has been arranged for the club. Most of them have been allocated but there are still a small number left. Get in touch quickly if you want one.\nTickets can be bought of course (£4.50 per car) from Classic Shows.(01484 667776). If you want to be on a club stand they need you to tell them.\nThis is an excellent show every year\, with good food and drink available and a great selection of cars\, all in a world famous setting. Somehow the weather always seems to be good – don’t know how they do it.\nOur club is having a large stand at the show\, possibly one of the biggest\, so all are welcome. Do tell us if you are coming so that we can plan our pitch properly. Last year we put on a good display with about 22 cars and received positive comments from visitors. We have more cars coming this year already (April).\nSadly the show has a reputation for traffic jams going in and out. We recommend getting there early to avoid arrival queues\, and when leaving don’t head for the A64\, ANY other way out is better.

SUMMARY:Tadcaster Classic Car Show 29th April 2018
DESCRIPTION:This has been one of the first local shows of the year for some time and is held in late April or early May in the car park of John Smiths brewery\, Tadcaster. The hard surface is helpful if the weather has been wet and there is space for over 200 cars.\n\nApril 29th is the date this year and the plans are falling into place. The on site club has agreed to provide hot food and drinks\, as well as toilet facilities. They also have a bar.\n\nAll proceeds from this years show are for the benefit of Martin House Hospice in Boston Spa. Their volunteers will be collecting on site\, and tickets for the annual car raffle will be on sale. We hope to have the prize car to display as well. A concours competition will be held during the show\, judged by one of our members\, and a winners shield and other prizes are to be won. If you would like your car to be considered\, let one of the marshals know as you arrive.\n\nVolunteers are needed for various tasks on the day so please let us know if you are prepared to help.(Dennis-07710 612052)\n\nWe’ve done all we can\, even the ice cream van is booked\, all we need is some good weather and YOUR CAR\, it doesn’t have to be anything amazing. Entry forms and passes will be available at the club night\, on April 9th( or by post). Entry is free but if you want to give a donation for the hospice it will be passed on.

DESCRIPTION:Organised by Dennis and Dave.\n\nThis year we plan to visit the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington near York\, a former WWII bomber base\, where lunch will be available if required. We suggest you aim to eat on arrival if a hot meal is required. After 2pm or when hot food has run out\, snacks are available.\n\nA special discounted entry price of £6 per car\, including one or two people\, is available for club members’ classics joining the display. Extra passengers are £6 each (children £4).  Meet at the Langlands garden centre on the A64 near Scholes (LS15 4NF) at 10:30 am. A run of approximately 50 miles through parts of Yorkshire we don’t normally visit.

DESCRIPTION:Temple Newsam Classic Car Show will be held this year on SATURDAY 19th August\, once again in conjunction with St Gemmas Hospice “Family Fun Day”. All of the proceeds from the car show will go to the hospice as before.\nAn entry form is available to download from this website\, but if you cannot do this send the details requested on a plain sheet of paper. Please do NOT send cash in the post.\nAll makes of car can be entered and small groups or clubs are welcome.\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE\nAn event management company have been engaged by St.Gemmas to organise traffic into and out of the park for this event.\nAll classic cars should enter the park via Colton Road next to Whitkirk Church (LS15 0AA). The general public will come in via Temple Newsam Road from Halton.\n\n
